SK Life Science Launches Access+ to Streamline Prescription Support

SK Life Science, a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing treatments for central nervous system disorders, has introduced Access+, a patient support service designed to simplify access to XCOPRI, an antiseizure medication approved for adults with partial-onset seizures.

Launched Nov. 1, the program combines pharmacy coordination, benefits verification, optional home delivery, and financial assistance services.

Its central component, Access+ Pharmacy, is a non-dispensing pharmacy pathway that health care providers can select through electronic prescribing systems. It processes prescription intake and coordinates support before routing prescriptions for fulfillment.

The service accommodates patients with commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and those eligible for the company's Patient Assistance Program.

SK Life Science also eliminated traditional enrollment forms for patients entering its assistance program through Access+ Pharmacy. Electronic prescriptions now initiate enrollment, followed by consent and eligibility verification.

For health care IT teams, the launch illustrates how electronic prescribing infrastructure can connect clinical workflows with administrative services.

Such integrations can reduce duplicate data entry, although insurance eligibility and coverage restrictions remain.

Access+ replaces the company's previous Navigator support programs. Participation in the new pharmacy pathway is optional, and coverage is not guaranteed.
