Egnite Updates CardioCare UI to Consolidate Cardiovascular Patient Data

Egnite, a healthcare AI company focused on helping clinicians identify and manage patients with untreated heart disease, has updated its CardioCare cardiovascular intelligence platform with a redesigned interface intended to make patient information easier for clinical teams to review and prioritize. CardioCare is used by more than 80 structural heart and cardiovascular programs nationwide.

The new interface organizes patient information by pathology and combines findings from electronic medical records, echocardiogram reports and ECG reports on a single review screen. It also adds patient lists organized by disease severity and a customizable "My CardioCare" home page.

CardioCare automatically surfaces events such as new echocardiograms and hospital admissions. The platform combines information from clinical notes, labs, encounters and referrals and applies clinical logic based on American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology guidelines.

Egnite supports cardiovascular conditions including heart failure, atrial fibrillation and mitral, tricuspid and aortic valve disease. The company cited its 2023 benchmarking report, which found that 42 percent of patients with symptomatic severe aortic stenosis remained untreated within a year of diagnosis.

Egnite notes that CardioCare itself is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent cardiovascular disease.
