Amigo Rebrands as Concurrence, Expands AI Platform for Health Care
Health care AI company Amigo has rebranded as Concurrence, a provider of AI-powered clinical workflow technology for health care organizations, as it expands a platform designed to connect AI agents with clinical and operational workflows. The Concurrence platform identifies the optimal paths from intervention to outcome, called Patient Trajectories, to surface what is most likely to work for which patients.
Concurrence is positioning its technology as an intelligence layer that can work across existing health care systems rather than requiring organizations to replace their core applications. The platform brings together organizational data and AI agents to support clinical, administrative, and operational tasks.
A central concept behind the platform is continuous learning. Concurrence says its agents can incorporate information generated during workflows to improve subsequent interactions and help organizations build institutional knowledge over time. AI-powered workflows are deployed across the care journey, scaling the judgment of expert clinicians and enabling patient interactions to be captured at an atomic level of detail across use cases like patient intake, medication management, and clinical decision support.
The company is targeting health systems, payers, and other health care organizations that often operate fragmented technology environments. Its approach is intended to connect information across those systems and give AI applications more context when assisting users or automating processes.
For enterprise IT teams, that architecture puts data integration and governance at the center of an agentic AI deployment. Systems that continuously incorporate operational information need controls around which data agents can access, how that information is retained, and how automated actions are monitored.
The rebrand reflects Concurrence's effort to broaden its focus beyond individual AI assistants toward infrastructure for deploying multiple agents across health care organizations.
