Fuse Oncology Launches Platform to Streamline Radiation Therapy Workflows

Fuse Oncology, the structured AI platform for radiation oncology, has introduced FuseRx, a cloud-based platform designed to streamline radiation oncology workflows by connecting clinical, administrative, and treatment planning processes in a single system. FuseRx is the keystone of the Fuse platform, connecting the consult to simulation, planning, and treatment.

The platform is intended to reduce the time between a patient's initial consultation and the start of radiation therapy by centralizing scheduling, care coordination, treatment documentation and operational workflows. FuseRx also integrates with existing oncology systems, enabling care teams to access patient information and manage treatment activities without relying on multiple disconnected applications. The platform is built to support clinical pathways at the point of prescribing, whether institution-specific protocols or published evidence-based guidelines.

Fuse Oncology said the platform is designed to help cancer centers improve operational efficiency while supporting collaboration among physicians, dosimetrists, radiation therapists and administrative staff throughout the treatment process. FuseRx will make its public debut at the 68th AAPM Annual Meeting & Exhibition, July 19–22 in Vancouver, B.C.
