Phillips Partners on Medical Device Security
Healthcare technology provider Royal Philips earlier this month announced an update to its medical device cybersecurity platform through a partnership with critical access management technology provider SecureLink
According to the March 16 announcement, Philips is introducing a new Secure Remote Access Management Service, which is designed to combine SecureLink with Philips' Remote Services secure connectivity framework.
According to Philips, the new functionality the partnership will bring to its Cybersecurity Services portfolio includes:

Uniform security, traceability and audit capability across devices.

Better management of privileged access sessions

Rich audit logging

Improved access management and permissions
"As healthcare providers' cybersecurity requirements continue to increase," commented Gal Gnainsky, head of security at Philips, in a prepared statement. "Partnering with SecureLink highlights Philips' focus on offering best-in-class solutions to provide more secure access management and protect health networks down to granular device level."
